thursday night

Today was a pretty good day but I feel exhausted tonight.  We have discussed so much this week and it is a lot to absorb.  Overall, I feel like I have a few more tricks in my bag for the upcoming school year and I have really learned a lot.   Some of the things that I enjoyed from today:   the walk and talk, the Bobby McFerrin video, and laughing with my peers (bad lip readings on YouTube are awesome).

I feel okay about the presentation tomorrow.  I definitely still have a work-in-progress and am still not sure where I am going with it.  I feel that I may have made my topic too narrow and since starting a new position in the fall I am unsure of where my focus should be.  Working on this project has given me time to explore blogs, Google Drive, and Twitter.  It is astonishing how many resources are out there.

Here are a few things that I am taking away from the week:  I will continue to use Twitter, I plan to maintain a blog of some sort, I now know more about Google Drive and its capabilities, I need to work on balancing my personal and professional lives, and I believe technology will play a huge role in the work I do this school year and years to come.
