In a 'Spiral Curriculum,' (J. Bruner) style, many important elements can be threaded into student projects. It helps it become much more than subject area content.
Good: design, public speaking, inquiry and perplexing questions, fast challenges, student voice…

It takes a spirit of adventure…

and some process.
