Wednesdays class format was great. Learned some new things and was really happy to explore some google tools a bit more. I enjoyed bouncing ideads and questions off my classmates in addition to the teacher.
I looked a bit more at google and am trying to use a form that I searched for to create a playoff bracket for a volleyball league. I did some searching on khan academy because it had been a while. I also searched diigo and liked that I can add notes and websites via my phone too.
I watched jkrowlings speech. In addition to really enjoying hearing her voice, I enjoyed the message she delivered. I've always thought commencement speeches are a touch corny, full of rainbows and puppies. She was real. To do great things you are definitely going to have some failure and it shouldn't imply a lack of success. Failure should spark curiosity. While listening I kept thinking that I should pick back up a book I'd begun to read a while back called How Children Succeed by Paul Tough.
